NOLA-PS & InspireNOLA to Welcome Students for the 1st Day of School at Edna Karr High School

WHAT:

NOLA Public Schools (NOLA-PS) Superintendent Dr. Henderson Lewis, Jr. and InspireNOLA CEO Jamar McKneely will welcome Edna Karr High School students to campus for their first day of school.


THIS IS A DISTRICT SANCTIONED MEDIA AVAILABILITY TO CAPTURE CONTENT OF THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL AT A HIGH SCHOOL. THIS IS THE ONLY OPPORTUNITY TO GATHER THIS CONTENT. FACE COVERINGS MUST BE WORN AND THERE WILL BE DESIGNATED AREAS FOR MEDIA TO STAND.

WHY:

NOLA-PS is excited many of our schools will be kicking off the first day of school next week. The District is committed to preserving in-person learning and will require students wear masks, encourage vaccinations through mobile vaccine drives, and incentivize students, teachers, and staff to partake in regular COVID-19 testing to help protect the health and safety of our school community.
